Photo post of Santiago, Valparaiso, and Vina del Mar

Here are some photos of our past two days of touring. Yesterday, we were lucky to get such a great overlook of the Andes and Santiago. Some days, the smog is so thick that you cannot see the Andes.

Today, we toured Valparaiso, a port city at the edge of the hills, which are packed with homes that are almost on top of each other--and yet individualized with bright, unique colors.

While walking in Vina del Mar, we discovered that some Chileans are just as interested in Michael Jackson's recent passing as some Americans. See the sand sculpture tribute below.
