Cafes

Cafes in Italy differ starkly with those in the US. Besides the obvious different in products (espresso rather than coffee, cappuccino as the standard drink, prosciutto everywhere, etc), the workers all have a pride in making your order. They seem to value their job as very important in their life and take genuine care of the customer experience. The ingredients seem to be sourced locally and are high quality at reasonable prices. Their doesn't seem to be much price gouging, except in the airport of course. Very impressed with my experience and wish this culture was more accessible in upstate New York. Definitely coming back!
