Climate change are real in Venice

From team 9 and Prof. Pastre’s lectures, ecology change such as climate changes came so real in Venice, and it can bring critical impact and damage to this beautiful city and lagoon from increasing number of high tides and increasing sea level. It predicts that by 2050, the sea level increase may bring significant threat to this city, as well as to the world.

I am glad to learn that Venice is actively researching, exploring options and taking actions to slow down this process, including the Project MOSES. It is ambitious project and the impact can be confounded.   Research and development are still underway to understand and debate the ecology impacts. I wish the best for the progress and beautiful Venice.
