Good Bye Bled.... Hello Porec!

Sad to leave the beautiful city of Bled, but I am very excited to see a new city as well as country. I have always loved mountains, lakes, and outdoor scenery throughout my life, but Bled has completely given me a whole new perspective from a European viewpoint. In the United States we think that 200-250 year old structures are old..... but in Europe they are the ones who are on top in this scenario. Sitting at the top of the ski slope and looking down onto the lake and the church really hit home for me. You have to think of the settlers thousands of years ago who sat on the same hill and took in the scenery just as I did. Hopefully this feeling will continue into the other countries that we visit on this trip!
