European union

It was interesting to learn about how and why the European Union was formed, and the effects that political instability can have on a region's culture and economy. Slovenia, croatia, and Italy all distinctly differ with these factors. In addition, long term effects of the world wars and various other regional wars are still observed today. I never knew the importance of diplomacy, but observing them directly has provided me the experience that will allow me to study these problems more effectively.
