Our first meal in Slovenia was at a restaurant Manna, which serves “heavenly dishes on earth.” I experienced horse for the first time (stringy meat on the paté ball), served with fruit brioches, truffles herb butter and cream of quince. To my surprise, it was quite delicious. It is always a great experience to try new cultural foods, as you never know when you will be able to try them again.
